Below is a list of grants we have awarded and how they have been used to make a meaningful impact.

We are deeply grateful for the support of our donors, who make this work possible. Every donation helps us provide grants for necessities such as veterinary care, farrier services, shelter, and boarding. Together, we can continue to ensure a brighter future for these horses.

  Harvey experienced a serious colic episode that required immediate, in-the-field emergency treatment. Thanks to quick action and your support, he received the care he needed to recover safely and avoid a hospital trip.

 Muffin was rushed to the veterinary clinic after showing signs of severe colic. He received life-saving care and remained under close supervision for several days. His recovery wouldn’t have been possible without emergency funding.

Annie – Emergency Wound Treatment

 Wilbur’s colic episode was sudden and serious. He was transported to the clinic where he received urgent medical treatment and intensive monitoring. Your donations helped give him a fighting chance—and he pulled through.

  While out in the field, Annie suffered a deep wound that required immediate veterinary care. She received antibiotics, wound flushing, and bandaging to prevent infection and promote healing.

   During peak allergy season, Rain was struggling with breathing and skin irritation. She was given prescription allergy medication to keep her comfortable and able to enjoy turnout with her friends. 

Cole – Ongoing Ulcer Treatment

    Cole has shown signs of recurring gastric ulcers. He’s currently on a treatment plan that includes daily medication and monitoring to help manage pain and prevent flare-ups.

     Fuzzy is undergoing regular shockwave therapy to help heal a soft tissue injury. This non-invasive treatment is helping reduce inflammation and improve his comfort and mobility over time.

      In addition to emergency care, your donations help provide daily food, shelter, and essential upkeep for our entire herd of retired ponies and horses. From hay deliveries and clean water to safe fencing and warm shelter, your support ensures these deserving animals live comfortably and securely in their retirement. 

2024

Shelter for Retired Ponies

 Purpose: To construct a weather-proof shelter for seven retired ponies.
Impact: This grant provided a safe, protective space for these ponies to shield them from inclement weather, ensuring their comfort and well-being during harsh conditions. These beloved school ponies, who gave so much to their riders, now have the security they deserve in their retirement.
